Spectricity's technology is based on a unique Multispectral Image Sensor that integrates its patented FP Precision Filter technology. This technology utilizes a mosaic pattern of filters on a CMOS image sensor. Spectricity precisely controls the filter center wavelengths by varying the thickness of the layers built on a CMOS image sensor. This design enables each pixel to capture the narrowband spectral information of the incoming light. Crucially, the FP Precision Filter technology is scalable and adaptable, allowing multispectral imaging to be integrated onto any commercial CMOS image sensor. This miniaturization is key to expanding the applications of multispectral imaging.
