Within our dynamic, multidisciplinary and growing team of technologists, hardware/software engineers and application experts, we are looking for a Field Application Engineer who is eager to learn and contribute to the design and development of our next-generation optical sensing solutions.

 

Your main responsibilities:

As a Field Application Engineer, you will be the first technical point of contact for our customers. You will report to our CMO & VP Sales. You will support them in integrating our hardware and software, ensuring they get the most out of our solutions. With your technical expertise, hands-on approach, and customer orientation, you build strong relationships and contribute to our success in a fast-growing market.

  • Technical Support & Customer Engagement: Guide customers in integrating our solutions and provide hands-on support
  • Documentation & Training: Create technical documentation and deliver training to customers, partners, and internal teams
  • Product Demonstrations: Deliver convincing product demonstrations at trade shows and customer meetings
  • Application Development Support: Develop and test algorithms, prototypes, and demos
  • Customer Advocacy: Rranslate customer feedback into valuable input for product development and sales
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with R&D, Engineering, and Sales to refine solutions
  • Industry Research: Stay up to date with industry trends and propose innovative applications

 

Your profile, skills, and talents:

In addition, you bring:

  • Master’s degree in electronics, optics, or physics
  • 5–10 years of experience in a technical role with customer interaction
  • Strong knowledge of electronics, optics, boards, systems, and test equipment
  • Experience with Python, spectral sensing, and optics is a plus
  • Fluency in English and excellent presentation skills
  • Willingness to travel internationally for ±20% of your time (EU & US)
